The Arab House Nuremberg serves to foster intercultural dialogue. It sees itself as a cultural and meeting centre that aims to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between Europe and the Arab world. The central element is a museum section with changing exhibitions, supplemented by a lively programme of events of all kinds. Rooms for meetings and exchange as well as a culinary offer are also part of the concept.
Our approach combines activities and utilises synergy effects in line with the following aims:
We address all parts of the public, also beyond our own region. Our target groups are schools and tourists, businessmen, scientists, politicians and the media. In the spirit of Arab hospitality, we invite institutions and providers of intercultural and interreligious activities to participate in our project. Activities to integrate refugees and migrants are an important part of our agenda.
